Criminal Defense And Family Law – Gray Smith

William “Gray” Smith is from Robersonville, North Carolina. Gray was active in the Robersonville community before moving to Virginia to attend Randolph-Macon College. During his time at Randolph-Macon, Gray played football for the Yellow Jackets and was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He maintained exceptional academic credentials and graduated on the Dean’s List in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies.

Gray joins us after spending three years in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he attended Campbell University School of Law. In law school, Gray completed numerous internships, including a clerkship with the North Carolina Supreme Court. Gray developed an affinity for trial advocacy during law school. While competing in numerous competitions at a national level, Gray compiled an impressive mock trial record in more than thirty jury trials, earned a national Outstanding Advocate Award and was ultimately inducted into The Order of Barristers for his excellence in courtroom advocacy.

Gray concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense and family law. His criminal practice includes felonies and misdemeanors, domestic violence protection orders, drug/narcotics charges, driving while impaired (DUI/DWI), and traffic matters. His family law practice includes mediations, child custody, child support, divorce, separation agreements, property settlements, equitable distribution, alimony, postseparation support and all other related matters.
